Done done done!
The sockapalooza socks are finally done. After ripping them both back to above the heel two weeks ago, they are finally completed. Don't worry I'll wash them before sending in August. I really enjoyed this pattern and yarn together. It was my first time using Jitterbug and I already want to buy some more.
Now I think I'll take a little sock breather. I do have a new sock picked out and ready to start. But I'm plugging away on Serrano so maybe I can wear it at my friend's wedding in September, the yarn matches my bridesmaid dress pretty well.
specs:
Snicket socks from Magknits
Colinette Jitterbug in alizarine

Wow! Those are stunning!
Those are so pretty!
Hey~
Beautiful sox, beautiful yarn, great pattern....I have these ear marked for later...but maybe I'm your sox pal??? Here's hoping...
Did you get the pair out of one skein of Jitterbug, or is that two?
Yes, those are one skein of jitterbug. I had a very small amount left over.
Say, I'm making Snicket as a pair of Sockapalooza Angel socks. I glanced through your last couple of entries, but didn't see if you'd mentioned why you had to rip out? Just curious, since I'm only a few inches in, if you had any sage words of advice. And yours look beautiful, so I'd certainly heed your words! :-)
Great job! I've used both the Snicket sock and the Jitterbug yarn (but not together) and I can attest that they're both great. I'm sure your pal will love them!
beautiful socks! thanks for sharing the pattern source.
nice to find another knitting elise :)
