almost time to go home blues

It's Friday and I really just want to be home in my bed watching the lovely Veronica Mars DVD. And I want my yarn to be here. I just need some cozy rest so my sniffles don't develop into something worse, as this week has been stressful.

It is good that I didn't try to knti from my stash this year. I have a tiny stash and most of it is designated to one project or another. But then this sweater came along. And I love it so. I love the color, the texture and I can afford the yarn and since knitpicks has free shipping for purchases over 45 dollars the devil on my shoulder tells me to get wool for the sunrise circle jacket. I am being very bad indeed, but all I want to do is knit more sweaters.

Perhaps this will be my valentine's day gift to myself.
