oops...

So to Rhinebeck I went. It's just too bad that I didn't learn to spin until after shopping or there could have been fiber and spindle buying too. But still I did end up with enough wool for two sweaters, from one place in building 31 and Fingerlakes woolen mill, and the yummy Kaffee Fassett sock yarn I have been coveting online. I had every intention to get some cormo to make an aran sweater, but could not find any that I liked in my price range. The cormo I really coveted would have blown my entire budget.

The couple things I did pass up, namely socks that rock and decadent fibers marshmallow, I can buy online. Is it just me, or is there always a point in the day when it is too hard to decide what to buy? Maybe it is overstimulation and I am not used to having access to so much yarn at once. I guess I feel like I should get it and hoard it as I will never see it again. This is the part of the day where my friends are very helpful, telling me what I should and should not buy. And of course they ended up with fabulous things too, including some things I wish I had bought.
All in all, it was a beautiful fall day filled with yarn.
