Indecision

Remember he who never called? Well his band is playing tonight. I can go and maybe say hi to him and watch as he doesn't remeber me at all or I can do my yoga and go home and go to the knitting tonight. I just don't know, but I am leaning toward not going. It seems a bit desperate to go to something to track down someone who could have just called me in the first place if he was interested at all. I am definitely heading down that spinster road.

In other news I finally finished The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers. I may have to read it again at some point to fully comprehend it. It really isn't the best subway read, so I will have to find some time to read it again with no distractions.

yeah....

So that boy that never called really should be kicking himself today. That's all I have to say.

I just finished 2 books:

Waiting by Ha Jin was a novel in which the style is more important than the plot. I loved the style of the writing, very austere and almost minimalist.

I still don't quite know what to think of Life of Pi by Yann Martel. This was an incredible story, though it wasn't really my cup of tea, as it was distrubing at times and was a story of primitive survival.

Oh, little blog I have been so neglectful of you. I have been very busy.

Last weekend I was in DC, which was fun and restful, just what I needed. I took the lovely train and finished my scarf on the way there and slept on the way back.

And today there was the marathon and walking around the city all day. Which can tire a girl out. I tell ya.

In between I have been trying to finish the ribby cardi and various things I'll felt when I go home for Thansgiving (less than 3 weeks!). The cardi is all sewn up and is now waiting for frint bands and a collar. I think I'm going to do snaps instead of a zipper or buttons. I should be able to fins some big snaps. Tonight I'll work on sewing my bag up so I can felt it over Thansgiving.
